2020 is the 25th anniversary event and the first year working in partnership with Immortal Sport.
There is a choice of 6 walking events 5k, 10k, 21k, 33k 42k and 50k.
Each distance is a a single loop and takes in some of the most beautiful scenery historic Wessex has to offer.
Aid stations at roughly every 5k including a fruit stop, a savoury stop with vegan options and various other suitable snacks.
Chip timing for all distances with up to 3 split time locations.
Awesome distance specific medal.
Distances can be changed up to 7 days before the race for free via your RACE NATION account see the FAQ page for more info. On the day changes can be accommodated but there will be a small admin charge of £5 payable on the day (card or cash).
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in all distances.
5k suitable for everyone including pushchairs.

FireSport UK (formally FSSAA) encourages all forms of sport and athletics, both indoor and outdoor, for the benefit of serving and retired members of the Fire & Rescue Service of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. It also promotes, organises, and does all things necessary to provide, establish and support competitions, championships and events of a like nature.
FireSport UK oversees a wide spectrum of different sporting activities from angling to walking and mountaineering and for the first time these different activities (or ‘Sections’) – 17 in total are brought together in one easily accessible location; informing the viewer of new or up and coming events taking place at a local, national and international level.
